This policy explains how Jolié Egg Books, also called JEB, handles information through this website. This staging draft is provided for owner and legal review. The newsletter workflow is built to transmit an email request only after its providers are configured; the partner, author, and general inquiry forms remain non-transmitting previews.

Information you choose to provide

The newsletter form requests an email address and an explicit marketing-email agreement. Future contact forms may request a name, email address, company, campaign details, book information, or a message. JEB will use submitted information only for the stated request, site operation, and any permitted follow-up.

Email

When enabled, Kit will manage confirmation, email delivery, unsubscribe, bounce, and suppression status for the monthly newsletter email. Kit will process the email request under its own privacy terms. Each marketing email will include an unsubscribe option.

Optional Airtable operations mirror

The site includes a disabled-by-default Airtable mirror for permitted audience operations and consent history. If JEB enables it after testing, Kit remains the authority for whether email may be sent, while Airtable stores a limited operational copy and append-only consent events. The mirror is not active merely because this code exists.

Spam protection

When configured, Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical request information to help reject automated signup abuse. The verification token is checked on the server before the email request is sent to Kit.

Forms

Approved production contact forms may later be processed through Wix Forms and routed to JEB's contact mailbox. Partner inquiry details may also be added to JEB's private opportunity tracking system. The current partner, author, and general inquiry previews do not make those connections.

Analytics and basic technical data

The production site may use Wix Analytics, Google Analytics, or Metricool to understand visits and site performance. Those services may receive device, browser, approximate network, page-view, and interaction data. The staging site should not be treated as evidence that any of those services is active.

Fonts and book-cover images

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Book-cover images may be served by Wix Media, Open Library, Google Books, or the cover source recorded in JEB's catalog. Those providers may receive ordinary request information, including your device address and browser details, when an asset loads.

Affiliate links and external sites

Some links lead to Amazon, Bookshop.org, Fable, or other third-party services. Those sites receive information when you visit them and apply their own privacy policies. Affiliate links may allow a retailer to attribute a qualifying purchase to JEB.

Sharing and retention

JEB does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that help run the site, deliver email, process forms, or measure site use. JEB keeps information only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes, legal obligations, and ordinary business records.

Your choices

You may unsubscribe through any marketing email. To ask about information you submitted, request a correction, or request deletion where applicable, email eggjolie@gmail.com.

Changes

JEB may update this policy when the site or its providers change. The effective date at the top will identify the current staging version.
